Technoslide (Pty) Ltd and Bearing Technologies CC are both offshoots of Glacier Bearings, a bearing manufacturer from Pinetown from 1967 to 1998. In 1998, the owners of Glacier Bearings, the T&N Group, sold the Company to Federal Mogul Inc. Some senior staff and other employees then founded Technoslide (Pty) Ltd., which continued the bearing manufacturer activities including a wide range of plain bearings. Bearing Technologies CC was formed in 1999 to supply structural bearings and provides specialised technical services in the field of tribology to Technoslide (Pty) Ltd.

The Group specializes in the development, design, production and marketing of plain bearing products and technologies, and high product quality and a genuine commitment to service delivery are the stamps of our success. The Group believes in a high level of investment in research and development, and we optimize our existing products and continually bring in new solutions.
